Original Mai Tai
Aloha. No, wait, let me try that again. ALOHA! There, that’s better. When I imagine myself away from the daily drudgery, I often like to go tropical — and when I go tropical, there’s only one drink for me: a Mai Tai. I’m not talking that iridescent glowing stuff served from a machine; I’m talking classic, original, worth hunting down special ingredients to have. You know, a Mai Tai. You taste buds and your imagination will thank you.
Pimm’s Cup
Light, refreshing, delicious. The Pimm’s Cup is the perfect drink for a steamy summer day in England. Granted, the summer days in England aren’t exactly “steamy” or even particularly warm. Still, with visitors to Wimbledon drinking over 40,000 pints a year (!), you know it’s a championship drink for the classiest of tennis tournaments.

Captain America Shot
Captain IRON MAN! When I was younger and playing Captain America and the Avengers on my Sega Genesis, it was always fun to select Captain America, then choose someone right after the game announced, “Captain…” Yeah, I’m a nerd. Onwards, for America! We all know that after Cap got his Super Soldier Serum treatment from Dr. Erskine he metabolizes booze right outta his system before he can get drunk. Though, him being a bit of a Boy Scout, he never really drank in the first place. Consequently, we keep this red, white and blue shot light so you can have 50. For America.

Sidecar
Admittedly, I love a good margarita; it’s one of the few true joys in life. That’s why, when I learned that the Sidecar was the progenitor of the margarita, I knew I had to give one a try. And once I’d tried one, I could fully imagine myself back in the Roaring 20s hanging out with Gatsby.
Bloody Mary
Tomato juice plus vodka and mixings equals a good time! Well, not always, but certainly sometimes. The thing about a Bloody Mary is like a stereo: it’s as good as your weakest component. Hunt down a few simple ingredients, add a little spice (who doesn’t like a nice kick to start the day?) and you’re off to a great start.
Caipirinha
It’s World Cup time again! This is a magical time that happens every four years, and for those of us who are footie fanatics, it’s like Christmas, only better. Seriously, it lasts an entire month, not just a day. As this year’s festival of footie is taking place in Brazil, I thought it was only right for us to celebrate with one of their most famous cocktails: the Caipirinha. Cachaça, lime and sugar – simple, easy, tasty!
Paloma
Here’s sneaky thing about the Paloma: this lovely little beauty is the drink to drink in Mexico, not the margarita. After tasting this, I totally understand why! Get out there, try one for yourself, and you’ll know it too. With our combined efforts, we’ll spread the word and get this drink the recognition it deserves!
Tequila Collins
The Tequila Collins (I refuse to call it a Juan or Jose Collins, I just won’t do it) – for those times when you want something a little refreshing, but don’t feel like having gin. It gives you all of the pleasant notes you’d hope for in a warm afternoon sipper, but with the added joy of tequila.
