Ingredients
  • 1½ oz. rye
  • ½ oz. beet juice
  • ½ oz. sage simple syrup
  • ½ oz. OJ
  • ¼ oz. lemon juice
  • Big ol' bunch of sage
  • Glass type: old fashioned
Instructions
  1. Make your sage simple syrup.
  2. Add your rye, beet juice, OJ, lemon juice and sage simple syrup to your shaker with ice.
  3. Shake.
  4. Add one impressive piece of ice to your old-fashioned glass.
  5. Pour your shaken cocktail into said glass.
  6. Garnish with a big ol’ bunch of sage.
  7. Toast to fall.
  8. It’ll come eventually.
  9. Toast to Thanksgiving.
  10. That too will come.
  11. Enjoy the refreshing, yet autumnal, flavors.
