Barbados Punch

September is an awesome month for many reasons, but one of the biggest: September 19 is International Talk like a Pirate Day! Fun fact, since I was a kid, I always wanted to be a pirate (that, and a Viking — having a Danish mother will do that to you). Enjoy a Barbados Punch in honor of pirates! Yarr!

This do be an old time recipe. In fact, it do be full of many things. The thing about these tropical drinks — some of ye might be calling them Tiki drinks, but that do be a bit more Pacific Ocean, not Atlantic, for my taste — is that they do be having lots of ingredients.

Take heed! Just because this drink do be having many components, don’t be skimping on them! Unless you do enjoy cheap drinks. Seriously. You do be the captain of your own ship (and drink), make sure to drink the best ye can afford.

As you might be guessing looking at the recipe, this do be a tasty, slightly potent, power-giving drink! I do promise you lad, after two or three o’ these, you do be having both the power and ability to raid Cartagena and Porto Bello.

Drink up me hearties, yo ho!
